November 1st – தமிழ்நாடு நாள் (Tamil Nadu Day), a grand Special Launch Event was successfully held right here at the VENBAA Tamil Lifestyle Studio in Coimbatore to celebrate our heritage! The event focused on how we can take the Tamil language, culture, and our lifestyle forward to fit modern times, leaving everyone inspired.

திருக்குறள் & Tamil Way of Life

To kick off the event, the gathering reflected on the timeless wisdom of Thirukkural and how we can apply its teachings in our daily lives.

“இனிய உளவாக இன்னாத கூறல்

கனியிருப்பக் காய்கவர்ந் தற்று.”

Guest speakers highlighted how this beautiful verse about speaking kind words—spoken centuries ago—is still deeply relevant today in our homes, workplaces, and even on social media.

VENBAA’s New Thiruvalluvar, Katrathu Tamil & Mudivili T-shirt Launch

Traditional Handloom Shirts and Veshtis

Along with modern T-shirts, traditional Tamil attire including handloom shirts and cotton veshtis were also introduced at the event. Released by the Nurupu (நூற்பு) team, this traditional collection features natural-colored cotton shirts, Chinese collar shirts, and various types of veshtis, honoring the hard work of our weavers and our rich generational craft heritage.

Interactive Discussion & Closing

The latter part of the event featured an engaging interaction session between the guests and the audience. Discussions revolved around how to keep the younger generation connected to Tamil, simple ways parents can encourage children to learn Tamil at home, and how fashion can reflect our cultural identity.

The event concluded on a high note with the core message of “என் மொழி என் வழி” (My Language, My Way) and “தமிழோடு ஒவ்வொரு நாளும்” (Every Day with Tamil), celebrating a wonderful Tamil Nadu Day weekend!
